- Group Activities -

The aim of the group activities is to achieve the exchange of information and ideas related to the PME.

Conference participants will need to select which sessions they would prefer to attend and indicate this in their registration. Group activities take place during the parallel time allotments, and have limited space.

National Presentations (NP)

A National Presentation is intended to give participants an overview of the research activities carried out in a hosting country and its potential contribution to the community’s work. This year the presentation is entitled:

• Taiwan Mathematics Curriculum, its Historical Development and Research Studies
  Shuk-Kwan Leung from National San-Yat-Sen University, Der-Ching Yang from National Chiayi University, and Yuh-Chyn Leu from National Taipei University of Education
   
• Opportunity to Learn: Reflection on Taiwanese Students’ Results of International Assessment
  Su-Wei Lin from National University of Tainan, Kai-ju Hsieh from National Taichung University of Education, Tai-Yi Tso National from Taiwan Normal University, and Pi-Hsia Hung from National University of Tainan
   
• Mathematics Teacher Education in Taiwan
  Feng-Jui Hsieh from National Taiwan Normal University, Pi-Jen Lin from National Hshchu University of Education, and Haw-Yaw Shy from National Changhua University of Education
