Internet Facilities

Wireless Internet will be available at the conference sites. Also specially designated conference rooms will be available for participants’ use during the conference time.

Food during the conference

Lunches will be arranged for the PME36 participants for 3 days and will be served at the conference sites. Morning and afternoon coffee breaks will take place as scheduled (see Timetable). Special dietary requirements such halal food should be indicated in the Final Registration Form. In addition, no restaurants in Taiwan getting Star-K Kosher Certification; therefore, we will provide vegetarian meals for Judaist. Lunches will include a variety of international and national dishes, including a selection of vegetarian food.

Tap Water

It is not recommended to drink tap water. There are fountain in the coference venue. Bottled water will also be provided during the conference.

Name badges

Participants and accompanying persons will receive a name badge. Everyone is requested to wear this badge during the conference to access all the conference activities.

EASYCARD in Hand, Easy Life in Taipei

EASYCARD is the most popular and common IC traffic pass for residents in Taipei. It is not only used for taking transportation but used for transaction anywhere. When you make transaction by EASYCARD, your payment will be deducted from EASYCARD. Participants can use their EASYCARD to support their expenses for shuttling by transportation like MRT, bus, train etc. If you want to buy an EASYCARD, or to recharge money in your EASYCARD, you can go to any MRT station it convenience stores such as: 7-ELEVEN, FamilyMart, Hi-Life and OK for top up EASYCARD.
